I am Tiffany Hsieh 謝佩璇, a creative designer from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, currently studying at Parsons School of Design. Yes, I would say that I am an ambitious person. I am interested in everything, from graphic design to business design. So, I decided to major in Strategic Design and Management, and minoring in Communication Design. I enjoy every moment as a senior student at Parsons School of Design.

A brand concept design for an imaginary project —a planned community on Mars 

 

WHERE YOUR DREAM COME TRUE

ever!and is a planned community on Mars for dreamers and adventurers who are 55+ years old, because people deserve to dream and achieve it in their precious lifetime. Now, stop imagining what life is out of the earth. No more imagination! Achieve your dream on Mars!

The brand name ever!and is inspired from Neverland in Peter Pan. Comparing with neverland, ever!and is the actual place where dreams come true. The whimsy collage will trigger dreamers'

curiosity and join the adventure to Mars.

A brand idenity project for Brunei, a Southeast Asia country, with a concept of lens of yellow

 

THROUGH LENS OF YELLOW

In Brunei, yellow represents the Sultan of Brunei, which is the country’s most important essence and all the culture behind one of the wealthiest countries in the world. Yellow is a meaningful and spiritual color for Bruneian because they believe in Sultan who will lead Brunei to a better world.

In the branding for Brunei, the color yellow will blend throughout the storyline and bring audiences into the culture of Brunei through the lens of yellow, the eye of Brunei.

 

Characteristic: Royal, Spiritual, Blessed

MYSTERIOUS CULTURE WORKS AS AN INVITATION

SUB-LOGO for Bureau works as an invitation in order to attract people's interest, and let people wonder what kind of country Brunei is.

An Islamic country in South East Asia?

 

Omar Ali Saifuddin is an Islamic mosque in Brunei, and also the best element to represent the very heart of the capital city and the country's Islamic faith.

From the business side, it can deliver its country's message,

"we are a small country, but we have the power." 

 

Brunei is the 3rd largest oil producer in Southeast Asia.

Oil drilling is its main economic source which benefits its people with a GDP of $77,000 per capita.

A rebranding project connecting MTA and New Yorkers through art 

 

ART IS EVERYWHERE

This project is a rebranding project for MTA. It aims at creating a new identity that connects between MTA and New York. The mission is to issue the negative brand image of MTA and endow a new identity to MTA which has not changed for almost 50 years. 

MTA is an everywhere gallery for busy New Yorkers who appreciate art because we believe people deserve to enjoy art anytime, and art is everywhere.

FUTURE GOAL

My goal “sustainable happiness” is to “be happy, and not regret my own choices”.When I was a freshman I knew what I wanted, so I planned out courses I want to take and extra courses for my minor. I minor in communication design as I knew I won’t be satisfied only becoming a business student, but understanding from the perspectives of designers.

ACHIEVEMENT

I am most proud of being a role model as the oldest sister in my family. I have one younger sister Joyce and brother Anthony. They

often look for advice from me when she faces important decisions in her life. Being the oldest sister in the family, I’m always seeking to support my siblings whenever they need me, because I love them!
